Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ilapus CO., LIMITED ("Ilapus," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the KSIPZE website, online store, KSIPZE mobile application, connected-device services, customer support, and supported voice-assistant or smart-home integrations, including Google Home and Google Assistant (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. This Policy does not replace any additional notice presented for a specific feature.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: email address, display name, profile image, authentication information, verification requests, and account-recovery information.
- Orders and support: billing and shipping details, order history, communications, product reviews, and information you submit when contacting support. Payment-card information is generally processed by payment providers and is not stored in full by us.
- Homes and devices: device names, room or home assignments, automation preferences, scenes, schedules, and other settings you choose.
- Wi-Fi provisioning: network name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password that you enter to connect a compatible device. The password is used to provision the selected device. If you choose the App's password-saving option, it is stored in encrypted form on your mobile device for that SSID and can be removed by disabling that option. We do not send Wi-Fi passwords to voice-assistant providers.
1.2 Information collected through the App and connected devices
- Device identifiers, model, hardware and firmware versions, capabilities, device names, connectivity status, settings, sensor or operational state, and commands sent to devices.
- Mobile-device and App information, such as device model, operating-system and App version, language, time zone, IP address, approximate region derived from IP, and network or Bluetooth identifiers needed for discovery, provisioning, security, and connectivity.
- Diagnostic and usage information, including timestamps, feature interactions, crash reports, error logs, and security events.
- Permissions and information you choose to provide through device features, such as Bluetooth, local-network, notification, camera/QR-code, or microphone access. We request these permissions only when needed for the relevant feature and subject to your device settings.
1.3 Website and online-store information
We and our service providers may collect browser type, device information, IP address, pages viewed, searches, cart activity, referring pages, cookie identifiers, and similar usage information. Our online store is powered by Shopify, which processes information as described in Shopify's own privacy notices.
2. Google Home and Other Voice-Assistant Integrations
If you choose to connect your KSIPZE account with Google, Google Home, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or another supported voice-assistant provider, you authorize us and that provider to exchange information needed to link accounts and operate your compatible devices.
Depending on the integration, this information may include an account identifier, OAuth access or refresh tokens, device identifiers, device names, manufacturer and model information, device capabilities and traits, room or structure hints, device status, and structured commands such as turning a light on, changing brightness, or changing color. This exchange is necessary to discover, display, query, and control your devices through the provider.
For Google Home cloud-to-cloud integrations, Google may store device metadata and state in Google Home Graph and send authenticated SYNC, QUERY, EXECUTE, DISCONNECT, or similar requests to our service. Google processes your interactions, including voice input and Google-account data, under Google's privacy policy and settings.
Our cloud-to-cloud service normally receives structured smart-home requests generated by the voice-assistant provider, rather than raw recordings of your voice. We do not use voice-assistant commands for advertising. If a future KSIPZE feature directly collects or stores audio, we will provide a specific notice and request any consent required by law before collection.
You can stop future exchanges by unlinking KSIPZE in the applicable voice-assistant or smart-home app. Unlinking does not automatically delete information held in your KSIPZE account; to delete that information, follow Section 8 below. Information retained independently by Google or another provider is governed by that provider's policies and controls.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Create, authenticate, secure, recover, and administer accounts.
- Discover, provision, connect, display, monitor, and control compatible devices.
- Link accounts and provide Google Home and other voice-assistant integrations at your request.
- Process orders, deliver products, provide warranties and support, and respond to communications.
- Send requested verification codes, security notices, service messages, and transactional communications.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Services and develop new features.
- Detect fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with law and protect users, Ilapus, and others.

4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to perform a contract with you, based on your consent, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as providing secure and reliable Services, preventing fraud, supporting customers, and improving our products. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary:
- At your direction: to Google and other voice-assistant providers when you link an account or issue a command, and to other parties you expressly authorize.
- Service providers: to providers supporting cloud hosting, device connectivity, authentication, email delivery, analytics, customer support, security, payment processing, order fulfillment, and shipping. They may process information only for contracted services and subject to appropriate obligations.
- Online store: to Shopify and payment, logistics, and fulfillment providers needed to operate the store and complete transactions.
- Legal and safety: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the Services; investigate fraud or abuse; or respond to lawful requests.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
Third-party services have their own privacy practices. Linking to or enabling a third-party service does not make its privacy practices part of this Policy.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the website and store, remember preferences, maintain sessions and carts, measure performance, understand usage, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, support advertising. You can manage non-essential cookies through the site's privacy controls when available and through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the website from working.
7. Security, International Transfers, and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or transmission method is completely secure.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining security, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, warranty, and regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and context. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it, subject to lawful exceptions and backup cycles.
8. Your Choices, Access, and Deletion
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent or appeal a decision. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
- App and KSIPZE account: use the account-deletion option in the KSIPZE App when available, or email support@ksipze.com from the email address associated with your account. State that you want to delete your KSIPZE account and associated App, connected-device, and voice-assistant linkage data.
- Google Home or another voice assistant: unlink KSIPZE in the provider's app to stop future access. To delete information held by Ilapus, also delete your KSIPZE account or contact us. Use the provider's account and privacy controls for information held independently by that provider.
- Website and store: contact support@ksipze.com to request access, correction, or deletion. Certain order, tax, fraud-prevention, warranty, or transaction records may be retained where required or permitted by law.
- Marketing: use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us. Transactional and security messages may continue while your account remains active.
- Mobile permissions: manage Bluetooth, local-network, camera, microphone, location, and notification permissions in your device settings. Disabling a permission may limit the related feature.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Account deletion is irreversible once completed and may disconnect devices, remove automations and scenes, and prevent restoration of associated data.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, or the minimum age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support@ksipze.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Region-Specific Rights
Residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, and other jurisdictions may have additional rights under local law. These may include rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal, and information about disclosures. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version on this page, update the "Last updated" date, and provide additional notice when required by law or when changes are material.
